Veterans Gravesite Flag Placement Day

Tuesday, May 22, 2018

Please join Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the Office of Veterans affairs in honoring our Military Veterans by assisting in the placing of American Flags at the gravesites of those Veterans that are no longer with us. This event is a beautiful way for our community to come together and show that we will always remember those that gave so much to us with their service and sacrifice. Everett City workers, staff, local dignitaries, business owners, families and residents will all join together in the placement of the flags. Memorial Day will be on Monday, May 28th with services held at Glenwood Cemetery, so if you would like to attend, remember to mark that in your calendar and revert back to Cityofeverett.com for more information. Or call Office of Veterans Affairs 617-394-2320 Flag Placement days, locations and hours: Monday May 21st from 6:30am – 10:30am at Glenwood Cemetery. Tuesday, May 22nd from 6:30am – 10:30am at Woodlawn Cemetery.
