That the City of Everett consider adding on their next bills, that we have a box to give ($1.00) one dollar to youth sports, as this would help youth programs off-set the traveling cost to the parents, and would not leave any child out of the activities. (Amended by deleting "as this would help youth programs off-set the traveling cost to the parents" and insert "within the City of Everett Youth Organizations")

That Chapter 18, Section 18-93 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Everett, “Stop signs”, is hereby amended by adding to the list kept on file in the City Clerk’s Office, the following: Oliver Street, at the intersection of High Street, in a northbound direction. The purpose of the amendment is to place stop sign to improve safety and to curtail speeding motorists in that area, at the request of residents, in the interest of public safety. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the foregoing are hereby repealed.

That the Samuel Gentile Recreational Center be maintained and not be eliminated under any circumstances relating to the former Everett High School sale, as we need that for the Youth of the City, is is next to the Park and we want to see that it is maintained as the Recreational Facility for the Youth of the City of Everett and not made into a parking lot.

That the Recreation Department and His Honor The Mayor revisit the possiblity of the installation of batting cages adjacant to the Recreation Center for the enjoyment and use by Everett Residents.

Objective is to support a current proposal that is being sent to Washington DC to the FCC referring to the Federal Communication Commission. This free wireless Internet access program is supported by many elected representatatives and the City of Everett will be joinging a coalition in the early stages that can only be beneficial should Everett decide to provide such access in the future for our Everett Citizens.

City Services report in person or written response this meeting (February 5th) on the progress of cleaning sewer drains in ward six, especially Village Area and all of Main Street down to lower end of Broadway, as well as, providing what other parts of the City have been completed, due to high volume of flooding and to prevent any further flooding.

That the Mayor establish an Ad Hoc Committee on the Disbursement of Chapter 90 Funds, Community Development Block Grants and City Funds that will oversee and develop a priority list of street projects for the next five years and that the membership consist of the Mayor, Director of Community Development, Director of City Services, City Engineer, Two Aldermen appointment the by Board of Aldermen President and one Common Councilor from each Ward appointed by the Common Council President.

That the Animal Control Officer revisit, once again, the residents of 16-18 Langdon Street due to complaints of continued dog barking at all hours and lengthy periods of time. This is the third complaint within twelve months.

That the Police Traffic Division monitor the area of Church Street and Broadway and Mansfield Street and Broadway, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays, as vehicles are not complying to the blinking red light where pedestrians and other vehicles are being impeded, due to numerous complaints from churchgoers at Immaculate Conception Church.

That Chapter 18, Section 18-138 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Everett, “Service Zones” is hereby amended by adding to the list kept on file in the City Clerk’s Office, the following: 454 to 456 Ferry Street, Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.The purpose of the amendment is to place a service zone –15 minute parking, not to exceed longer than 30 minutes sign at the above-described area, intended for safety and convenience of patrons of Mega Hair Salon.
