  • Seasonal Flu Clinic Announced – Get Your Flu Shot!
    Mayor Carlo DeMaria, Jr. and the Everett Health Department would like to announce an upcoming Seasonal Flu Clinic open to the Everett community.The Clinic will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Lafayette School, 117 Edith Street in Everett from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. (read more)
  • CITY BANS TOBACCO SALES IN PHARMACIES - STRENGHTHENS HEALTHY COMMUNITY INITATIVE. Everett becomes the first Metro-North city to institute new regulations.
    On Monday, May 24th the Everett Board of Health unanimously passed a new Tobacco Regulation. With bans on tobacco sales already in effect in pharmacies in Boston, Uxbridge and Needham, Everett leads the metro-north area with this new Regulation on the Sale of Tobacco. (read more)
  • “A WELCOME SMILE AT CITY HALL
    Mayor Carlo DeMaria Jr. is pleased to welcome Smile Initiative as a community Dental Clinic to City Hall and to Everett Public Schools. The Cambridge based Dental Clinic will provide dental evaluations and comprehensive treatment plans for local patients. The clinic will be open to adults and children in the community, and will also be offered in the schools. (more)

  • AIDS/HIV Survey: Everett residents are invited to complete a brief and confidential survey on their beliefs and perceptions of HIV/AIDS in Everett. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Click HERE to take the survey.
  • MEDICAL SUPPLIES NEEDED - The Everett Health Department and Mayor Carlo DeMaria, Jr. are supporting the Haitian Earthquake relief effort by collecting the following specific medical supplies. Items will be collected through February 3rd for transport by a delegation of doctors and nurses traveling to Haiti to assist with the medical response. (read more)

    Mayor Carlo DeMaria is pleased to announce that Heidi Porter, MPH, RS/REHS, is joining the City of Everett as Public Health Director. The Mayor is thrilled to welcome Ms. Porter and her vision of developing a dynamic, twenty-first century Health Department. (read more)
