The Joint Committee for Childrenís Health Care in Everett is a not-for-profit organization that firmly believes in the right of Everett's children to have available to them appropriate health care and knowledge to enable them to become healthy and productive members of the community. The Joint Committee is dedicated to advocating for universal access to quality, comprehensive health care for all children of Everett, and in promoting their optimal health and well-being.

Toward that end, the committee works in partnership with parents, educators, health care professionals, and members of civic and community organizations in providing health education, community service programs, and public health initiatives.

The Joint Committee has established the following goals and will work toward these and other issues as needs arise.
  • Continuing health access for children via outreach, enrollment, education, and advocacy.
  • Growing up issues for our Children.
  • Support additional health services in the schools.
  • Seek out funding mechanisms and resources for health-related programs for the above goals and future work of the Committee.
  • "As a physician, I believe that The Joint Committee is serving an important role in addressing some key health issues. The children of Everett are fortunate to have a group of concerned, dedicated leaders and parents advocating for them."
Peter Masucci, MD., Vice-President of The Joint Committee and Chief of Pediatrics-Whidden Memorial Hospital
