You have 21 days following the date
of issue to pay a Parking Violation.
Your payment may be returned by mail
or personally at the office of the
Parking Clerk, Everett City Hall,
484 Broadway. The office accepts payment
in cash, postal note or money order
ONLY. If payment is not received within
21days, an overdue notice is mailed
to the registered owner with an additional
late fee of $5.00. Failure to pay
the overdue notice within 21days will
result in the non-renewal of the license
and/or registration of the registered
owner. In addition, at that time another
late fee of $10.00 is charged plus
a surcharge of $20.00 for the Registry
handling.
When a Parking Violation is held
for non-renewal by the Registry, and
if payments are made by mail, the
office accepts payment in postal note
or money order ONLY and a self-addressed
stamped envelope for the return of
the Certified Registry Release must
be included. You must deliver one
copy of the Certified Registry Release
to the Registry of Motor Vehicles
by hand at the time you renew either
the license and/or registration or
you may mail a copy if you do not
need to renew immediately.
A hearing may be obtain upon the
written request of the registered
owner if submitted with supporting
documentation within 21 days of the
violation, the information must be
printed as follows: Name and address,
and reason for the hearing request.
