This alarmingly fast growing trend in elder fraud and the increasing number of
financially victimized elders are of great concern to the Attorney General’s Office. If you cannot attend the seminar, we are providing a handy guide to help you learn how to protect yourself.
This guide features the most common scams targeting elders that are reported to the Attorney General’s Office. Scams can materialize in many different ways and this guide provides the most popular scams, warnings signs to look out for, what to do should you become a victim, as well as a number of other useful resources throughout the state and country.

On Wednesday, October 31st please join Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the City of Everett as we celebrate the 4th Annual Halloween Bash at the Recreation Center from 3:30-6:00. The event will be kicked off by the kid’s costume parade around Glendale Park at 3:30PM. and then from 4PM to 6PM, attendees will enjoy an array of activities, arts and crafts, performances by children entertainers, and giveaways full of candy & prizes at the Rec. Center at 47 Elm St. The event will also include hayrides around Glendale Park. All free of charge!
