  1. Veterans Gravesite Flag Placement Days

    May 20, 2019, 7:00 AM - May 21, 2019, 11:00 AM

    Please join Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the Office of Veterans affairs on Mon. May 20th & Tues. May 21st in honoring our Military Veterans by assisting in the placing of American Flags at the grave sites of those Veterans that are no longer with us. This event is a beautiful way for our community to come together and show that we will always remember those that gave so much to us with their service and sacrifice. Everett City workers, local dignitaries, business owners, and residents will all join together in the placement of the flags. Memorial Day will be on Monday, May 27th with services at Glenwood Cemetery, so if you would like to attend, remember to mark that in your calendar and revert back to for more information. Or call Office of Veterans Affairs 617-394-2320 Flag Placement days, locations and hours: Monday May 20th from 7:00 am – 10:30am at Glenwood Cemetery. Tuesday, May 21st from 7:00 am – 10:30am at Woodlawn Cemetery.

    MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES TO BE HELD AT GLENWOOD CEMETERY Mayor Carlo DeMaria and Veterans Services Commissioner, Jeanne Cristiano, would like to invite all residents to join the City’s veteran community on Monday, May 27th for its Annual Memorial Day Service. Join us in remembering and honoring the men and women who served our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice. This year’s service will once again take place at Glenwood Cemetery. Light refreshments will be served just prior to 9:45AM and services will start promptly at 10AM. For questions call the Office of Veterans Services at 617-394-2320.

  3. Free Hoarding & Cluttering Disorder Clinic

    •Attendees will gain an enhanced understanding of what hoarding disorder looks like and how it is defined. • Clinicians will Highlight the many vulnerabilities that complicate hoarding situations including co-morbid disorders and decision-making deficits. •Describe the symptoms of hoarding disorder and their associated impairments. •Discuss harm reduction approaches to addressing hoarding behaviors •Explain how to utilize the Uniform Inspection Checklist when working in hoarding situations •This presentation stresses that all work with individuals demonstrating hoarding behaviors must be a client-centered, collaborative process that respects the dignity and worth of the person.
